If you was saddened when Sex and the City left our screens nearly 10 years ago, you’ll be delighted to know that Carrie Bradshaw, with her sky-scraper heels and iconic outfits, has topped a poll of TV’s most influential homes.
According to a survey by More Than home insurance, we are most envious of her walk-in wardrobe and floor to ceiling bookcase, which an astonishing 45% admitted that they were aspired to re-create it, spending up to £530,000 replicating the look.
The survey made up of inspirational interiors, including Downtown Abbey as well as the Norcross home in glamorous Essex, was taken by 3000 homeowners.
Don Draper’s apartment, from Mad Men came in second with Monica Bing from FRIENDS apartment coming third.
Decorating your home like your favourite TV sitcom or drama has become a major inspiration source, with 31% of surveyors being influenced to spend their hard-earned money.
